Both The Play (known in Siberia as The Man Called Jesus, or TMCJ) and The Story teams are located in the Siberian city of Irkutsk. Both teams have been under the direction of Sasha (who has played the role of Jesus in both dramas) and his wife, Sveta, since their respective trainings in 2000 and 2002.

During various times of the year, the teams, made up of young men, women and children from 7 different churches, come together to present the Gospel through the distinctively Russian versions of TMCJ and The Story.  The larger drama, TMCJ is presented in drama theaters and churches for the purpose of reaching large audiences, where hundreds of people are hearing the Good News for the first time in their lives.  .

The Story has been used as an evangelistic outreach in smaller settings to children and young adults in schools, drug rehabilitation centers, prisons and military facilities.

As a result of the ongoing ministry of these teams, not only is the Gospel going forth to reach the lost, but the Church of Jesus Christ in that region has been strengthened by this unique expression of unified purpose and vision.
