A Personal Note from Marie Umidi
Writer, Producer - THE PLAY
President/Founder - TMCJ International Productions, Inc.
Even as a child, God was forging my destiny. I used to write, produce and perform my own shows – backyard events, in which I strung up a bed sheet for a curtain and invited the whole neighborhood to come and see “the show”. My call to the foreign mission field was also birthed in that childhood backyard, as I would often daydream the world was my home. I envisioned living with people from each continent – vividly imagining their homes, how they dressed and what it would be like to be their friends. Now, many years later God has orchestrated all the pieces resulting in TMCJ International Productions annually producing THE PLAY in Hampton Roads, Virginia for over 20 years, and being grounded and established in several nations!
Whether our drama teams are in Jakarta Indonesia, putting finishing touches on the stage curtain for their Indonesian STORY production, or in Bethlehem (West Bank) Israel performing an Arabic version of THE PLAY before 5,000 in Manger Square, or in North India, overlooking 20,000 people who have gathered to hear our Gospel presentation, or in Havana Cuba where hundreds are coming to the Lord every week, in Tirana Albania, where the hunger for God is desperate, or, in Virginia Beach VA where 250,000 have seen THE PLAY, with countless thousands of decisions for Christ made – all the Glory goes to our Loving Savior!
The TMCJ STORY teams reach elsewhere - into Nepal, Siberia, Ukraine, Russia, Mongolia, and Kosovo, all of them on spiritual battlegrounds where a fierce battle is being waged, and the casualties of this war are human hearts and souls. Our STORY team members in all these nations know what it means to live in spiritual and physical war zones. Many of them risk jobs, families, and even their lives to preach the Gospel to their countrymen. “Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:10
As new STORY teams are being trained and equipped throughout the most desperate parts of the world, TMCJ International Productions desires your support. How? You can pray, become equipped to train others in these productions, involve your church in a training or missions event with TMCJ, and, you can give financially to this vision. Visit our support page to see how you can be involved!
